Dogs - The sad stories
"He
is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You
are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful
and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him
to be worthy of such devotion."

Below
are the rescue dogs, that for various different reasons we
were unable to rehome.
These are the sad story's of rescue. This is our
Tribute to them.
Victoria
Victoria
was found wandering in Wamboin, a semi-rural area just outside
Canberra on Wednesday, 25th June 2003. She was taken
by the local Rangers to the Queanbeyan City Council Pound.
The Rangers then contacted us to get our opinion on whether
she was rehomable. We visited her on Friday, and after
seeing the condition she was in, came to the conclusion, in
consultation with the Queanbeyan City Rangers, that she was
not rehomable. We then started looking for her owners,
but unfortunately were unable to find them. On Wednesday,
2nd July 2003, Victoria was released into our care.
We took her home, bath her, and gave her some TLC before taking
her to our Vet who euthanised her. She is buried out on the
farm, in the orchard, next to Victor.
