Schweppes
only lived with me for a short period of time (18 months)
but she meant more to me than anything I can explain.
She was the one who introduced me to this wonderful
breed and to the world of dog showing. I owe Schweppes
more than I can even imagine.
Schweppes
was a show dog earlier on in her life but didnt become
a Champion for various reasons. She lived her life
with the Hurst's until I met her, fell in love with her
and insisted that I wanted her, not a puppy! I did
put in an order for a puppy from the Hurst's (Yarrowfell
Dalmatians) later on, but she was the only one who would
do at the time. Little did I know, but Philippa
Hurst (the youngest daughter of Neil & Jane Hurst,
who also happened to be a good friend) decided that since
Schweppes could be shown in Veterans, that she WOULD be
shown (whether I liked it or not!). Luckily, I did
decide that it was OK. |
